Tomaso Bersani
Chief Financial Officer
Tomaso Bersani is Chief Financial Officer of Serenissima SGR since November 2018. He joined La Centrale Finanziaria Generale Group in 2016 as the CFO of the holding company and as an Executive Board Member of the subsidiary LC Capital Solutions.
He gained over 20 years of professional experience focused on Finance, M&A, Asset Management, Strategic Planning, Organizational Design and Implementation, Business Process Reengineering, across different industries and organizations (business consulting, private equity, corporate). Expert in start-up and turn-around, before joining LCFG Group he worked for Enron Corp, PWC, Accenture, Booz Allen Hamilton, Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori and 2 PE firms.
Mr. Bersani got a Master Degree in Electrical Engineering from La Sapienza University in Rome and an MBA from SDA Bocconi School of Management.

Andrea Albertini

He holds a degree in Business and earned at E-Finance Master from the Cattolica del Sacro Cuore University in Milan. He later worked for IT development companies first as an functional analyst and then at client companies, leading fund management companies in Milan. Starting in 2014 he began work in the Finance Area at a real estate fund management company. This is the same position he currently holds at Serenissima SGR.

Andrea Bassan

He began at Serenissima SGR in the Technical Area and is now coordinator of the Technical Office. He previously worked for RES Sviluppo Immobiliare, a Project Management company active in the field of property development that managed the development of a number of properties in portfolios belonging to Funds managed by Serenissima SGR.

Monica Castelli
Administration department
With an high-school diploma in accounting and book-keeping, she is working in the Finance Department. She has worked as freelance in the banking sector gathering mortgage survey information before the loans approval by credit institutions. Then she acquired two decades of experience in the administrative/accounting sector within several regional food companies.

Duilio Cerase
Head of Planning & Control
A graduate in Business and Economics, he has a Master’s Degree in Banking and Finance. His professional experience began at Municipality of Venice in the administration and finance department and at Agenzia delle Entrate (Italian Revenues Agency) in the tax assessments and auditing. He consolidated this experience at Banca Popolare di Garanzia where, starting in financial consultancy, he ended up as Head of Corporate Clients. Before joining Serenissima SGR he worked in the area of financial consultancy and the planning of subsidiaries at Merchant Bank Inter Media Holding Spa.

Adriano Di Vico
Compliance department
He obtained his degree in Law at the Second University of Naples. He subsequently received a second-level Master's degree in “Evaluation, Training and Development of Human Resources. Organizational Analysis and Interventions, Risk Prevention” at the University of Padua. He has worked in the Corporate Affairs Department of Serenissima SGR since November 2016, dealing with the Governance of Funds and the management of fund investors; currently he is in the Compliance & AML department.

Fabiano Ferranti
Legal Responsible
A solicitor, he works in Serenissima SGR’s Legal Department. His professional and training experience includes a Master’s in European Transport Law held by the University of Udine with the E.T.L. Consortium. He previously worked in the Legal Office of Friulia Spa, the Friuli Venezia Giulia regional finance company.

Angela Frulli Antioccheno
Corporate Affairs Responsible
She has worked in corporate governance, initially in commercial companies, holding companies and related subsidiaries, and then for more than 10 years in supervised companies, dealing with all aspects of the various corporate functions, the related ordinary and extraordinary transactions and the consequent obligations, including those arising in phases of company liquidation and winding up. She has overseen the regulatory aspects of over 20 AIFs managed by SGRs, coordinating the fulfilment of their obligations, updating the consequent documentation and making the necessary reports, and has maintained relations with the supervisory authorities and managed communications with investors, participating in related meetings and responding to any requests. She has extensive knowledge of and experience with MIFID, AIFMD and AML regulations. She has collaborated in the drafting and updating of internal procedures and cooperates with the internal control functions, the Boards of Statutory Auditors, the auditors and the Supervisory Board. She interacts with external professionals (lawyers, notaries and consultants) in handling disputes of various kinds and prepares and/or controls company contracts. After graduating with honours, obtaining a degree in Political Science at the University of Padua with a thesis in administrative law on controls in the banking sector, she received a scholarship to and attended the Master's Programme in Economic Development of the Advanced Tertiary Sector in Rome and subsequently obtained a second degree, again with the highest marks, in Padua as an expert in training processes. She joined Serenissima in October 2018.

Camilla Furlan
Fund management department
After obtaining a Master's Degree in Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Milan with a major in "Design and Protection for existing constructions" in 2016, she immediately began to collaborate on several projects, first in the Milanese context where she followed construction activities together with architect Luca Astori, then in real estate for the Euroconsultancy-RE company. After moving to Verona she worked for Barbi Arca Studio Progetti and dealt with several architectural/engineering projects. In June 2018 she obtained her professional licence and joined the Valuation team at Serenissima SGR.

Margita Hoxha
Corporate Affairs department
She obtained her degree in law from the University of Verona and is a native speaker of Albanian. She completed the Erasmus student mobility program in Malta and gained significant professional experience in Belgium, acquiring a firm command of English and the skills needed to perform successfully in a competitive working environment. Following a brief job rotation at a bank, in October 2016 she began her internship in the Corporate Affairs Department of Serenissima SGR S.p.A. She currently works in the Corporate Affairs Department.

Simona Marchetto
Administration department
She works in the Finance Department where she focuses on activities relating to the management of Fund quotas and administrative and accounting issues. A graduate in Economics from the University of Ferrara, she has carried out research at the same university and also has a Master’s in Finance and Management Control from the University of Pisa. She has participated in the spin-off of numerous companies of the motorway sector.

After the role of management assistant, Emanuele Pepoli, responsible for workers in the field of safety, from April 2019 is in charge of the organizational functioning of the company, employees and information technology services. Graduated in Community Manager, he has been a professional educator and a facilitator of Law 22 operating authorization and institutional accreditation at Socio-Sanitary Company (Veneto Region).

Minerva Pillinini
Legal department
After obtaining a degree in law from the University of Trieste, graduating with honours in November 2011, she began an internship in the Legal Department of Serenissima SGR. She attended the School of Specialization for the Legal Professions of Verona-Trento, earning her diploma there at the end of the two-year period. She passed her qualifying exam and began practising law in September 2015. She has worked in the Legal Department of Serenissima SGR since November 2017.

Alessandro Sgaggio
Fund manager
A graduate in Architecture, he worked both freelance and as an employee acquiring significant experience in the technical-real estate sector. After an early experience at Public Administration he was made Property Manager for a leading public company (Italian Treasury Department). He later held various roles at Autostrada BS-PD (Motorway BS-PD), the last of which being Head of the Real Estate Department. He also acquired significant technical and business management experience working on project management activities for RES S.I. where he held the role of Director.
